In this triple header blogging Sunday, I wanted to usher out with the above mentioned topic. Some things in life you never get over, you just learn to live with them. A death of a parent or child are such instances; you learn to function with that void. Some things you completely get over but they take time and effort. With those instances, you will know when you are over something or someone when there is no more energy given to it. You are able and willing to walk away from that something or someone. Every trinket and object that reminds you of that time in your life is discarded. You don’t mutter a word about what or how that happened. You don’t have a need to turn around and look back. Once you have arrived to that point, tell yourself congratulations because you have closed a chapter.
Just remember when you close chapters, keep them closed. There is no reason to go back. Leopards don’t change their spots. If that thing or that person was meant to be in your life, they would have never left.
