Happiness is an inside job. When you are not happy with your life and yourself, your perception can become clouded (especially if you have a foundation of mistrust).
The the feelings of malicious motives and intent of others become exacerbated. It takes a certain amount of healing to recognize whether your lack of joy and contentment is in the driver’s seat of your perception.
Never apologize for how you feel at the time you felt it. However, accept the perspective change you may encounter when your healing process takes off of the blinders.
